It's interesting how much times have changed. For most of this worlds existence, people lived just fine without a bathroom of any sort. In a way, life was much simpler then. We've created so many wonderful things to make life easier, but end up complicating our lives with things that we think we need. Do we need them or are they really wants in disguise? Personally I can't imagine life without indoor plumbing, and thank goodness I don't have to. Bathrooms have evolved from being just a place to go, to being a place to go unwind, relax, or ready yourself to face the world.
I say bring on complication. Beautiful, luxurious, work of art, spa like, complicated comfort :)
